Temple’s only employees are the priests. For cleaning, janitorial, and maintenance services, HTCCR contracts with reliable contractors and vendors. For all other work, from kitchen to prayer hall to office, the temple depends on volunteers from the community. Some volunteers are highly skilled in management, information technology, accounting, decoration, cooking etc. Other volunteers perform simple jobs like passing around Pooja Literature, Arati thali, cooking food in the kitchen, serving food and water to the devotees, cleaning tables, taking out trash, etc. Some jobs require 20 hours or more time each week, while others may require only a few hours every week.

We would love to have several volunteers who can share the duty of greeting the visitors on weekends, note down their contact information (if new), and answer any question. If you would like to volunteer for whatever job you would like to do, please stop by the temple any Sunday and talk to any Board member, priest, or volunteer you see.
